Day 1: Auckland: Your Day Tour starts with a relaxing sightseeing tour of Auckland, a chance to explore the CBD and outer areas of the city, taking in the spectacular harbour views of the Waitemata from Auckland's illustrious waterfront, and through some of the most expensive real estate in NZ. You will also have the opportunity to stop and shop in any number of destinations. Then your tour continues on to the summit of Mt Eden one of 48 dormant volcanoes situated in and around Auckland, from the summit of Mt Eden you can take in a stunning 360 degree view of Auckland city and it's surrounding harbours. From Mt Eden you will continue to an even more spectacular view from Auckland’s Sky Tower. At 328 metres Sky Tower is the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere, offering breath-taking views for more than 80 kilometres in every direction. If you are feeling adventurous you can book in a controlled bungee form the viewing platform. Afterward return to your hotel to relax for the evening.
Day 2: Auckland/West coast/Auckland: After a relaxing breakfast your tour continues out to the magnificent west coast famous in New Zealand for its unique black sand coastline, before continuing on to Oratia and the native bush surroundings in one of Auckland's many regional parks. From August to March you will be able to view up to 1200 pairs of Gannets. Fur seals can sometimes be seen in spring along with the endangered Hectors dolphins. After lunch spend the afternoon taking time to sample some wines from the regions many fine wineries before finishing your tour back to your accommodation.
