Samove is our name. Where we originate the name from is the combination of the words “Samoa” and “Move” your body

We are all family, all boy group born and breed in the South side of Auckland. This is our first year performing in big events, as we most of the time perform at our church youth events.
Our dance pieces show our Polynesian culture and how we can mix different genres of music to our Polynesian traditional dances.

Our main purpose of this group, like many other groups is to use dance to express not impress. But we Samove express our cultural background and where we come from.

Our main Moto is “D.T.F” not the Jersey shore quote in which everyone in the world knows this off, but D.T.F meaning “Dance To Fellowship”.

2011 is the start of Samove, and our vision for the group is to bring back our cultural background in dance too our Polynesian community.
